About me
Elise is a researcher at the World Resources Institute’s Land & Carbon Lab working with GIS and remote sensing to map and monitor land cover. Elise focuses on lands outside of forests such as croplands, grasslands, savannas, and wetlands. Her main work is producing maps to ensure large companies can monitor their progress towards climate and nature commitments. Elise got her M.S. in Geography from Oregon State University focused on remote sensing, and is now based in Portland.
